Who lives here with us
Highgrove sits where the Nantahala National Forest comes down to Lake Apalachia. Our trail cameras catch black bears, deer, bobcats, coyotes, foxes and wild turkeys passing through; our own animals share the pastures; and bald eagles regularly soar past the high ridges and over the lake.

Where the cameras watch
Our cameras are scattered across our own 543 acres: up on the ridges, down along the valley creeks, and where the farm meets the national forest. That's as specific as we get, so the animals keep their habits to themselves.
